Green Week: Fall 2024

Roll up your sleeves. Green Week is here, with three student events to help make the world more sustainable and resilient. Join us!

MAPATHON!

Thursday, September 26th, 3pm to 6pm
BYU Library Flex Room, 2742 HBLL
Help us map highly vulnerable communities where data is scarce — with training, prizes, and snacks. PLEASE RSVP.

CLOTHING SWAP

Friday, September 27th, 9am to 5pm
Wilkinson Student Center Terrace
Exchange something you no longer need for something "new" at this pop-up clothing swap.

Look for clothing collection bins during Green Week in the Clark Building (Kennedy Center) and the Life Sciences Building (second floor, by the elevator).

SERVICE PROJECT

Saturday, September 28th, 9am to 11am
Wasatch Elementary School, 1080 N 900 E, Provo, UT 84604

Meet by the flagpole to spruce up Provo's only Utah Heritage Garden—a native plant garden—or meet at BYU's Jamba Juice at 8:50am to walk over with Y-Serve volunteers. Breakfast, gloves, and tools will be provided.

Thanks to our campus partners—the BYU Library Geospatial Services and Training Lab, the Ballard Center for Social Impact, the Center for Service and Learning (Y-Serve), and the Geography Department.
